Transform Your Face With Just Four Points: The Blush Trick for a More Refined Look

▶ Watch the Short on YouTube

Sometimes the difference between "nice makeup" and "wow, you look amazing" is not a new product at all — it is placement. In this Short I show the four points where I layer blush, and the way it pulls the whole face together honestly surprises people every time.

Why Four Points?

When the same soft colour appears in a few deliberate places — the cheeks and a few supporting touches around the face — everything suddenly feels unified. Eyes, lips and cheeks stop competing with each other and start telling one story. That cohesion is what reads as "refined" or 垢抜け, even though no single step is dramatic.

How to Apply It

Use a light hand: pick up a small amount of product, tap off the excess, and build in sheer layers on each point, blending the edges until you cannot tell where colour starts and stops. Soft gradation is the entire secret — four whispers of colour, not four stamps.

Any Colour Works

I demonstrate with my favourite shade, but the technique is colour-agnostic. Rosy pinks, peachy corals, soft browns — choose whatever flatters you and let the placement do the heavy lifting.

Try the four points tomorrow morning — it takes thirty seconds, and I think you will see your face click into place.
