This Shine, Completely Unedited: Testing the Highlighter Going Viral Overseas
Every now and then a product earns its hype, and this highlighter — the one beauty lovers overseas cannot stop talking about — is one of them. What you see in the Short is exactly what the camera saw: no filter, no editing, just that shine.
Why It Went Viral
The finish is the whole story. Instead of chunky glitter sitting on top of the skin, it melts in and reflects light like glass — the kind of glow that usually only shows up after a round of retouching. On camera it looks lit from within, and in person it is even prettier.
How I Apply Highlighter for a Believable Glow
Less is everything. Pick up a small amount, warm it on the back of your hand, and tap it only on the true high points — tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, a tiny touch on the cupid's bow. Building two thin layers always beats one heavy swipe, and blending the edges keeps it looking like skin rather than product.
Worth Hunting Down?
If you love a glass-skin glow, yes — this one genuinely earns its reputation. Sensitive to shimmer? Apply with a small fan brush for the sheerest possible veil.
Filters off, glow on — that is my favourite kind of viral.
